streets and weddings

pretty streets and weddings are my travel companions!  here they are in malaga:

the running-into-a-wedding thing is actually quite strange.  i've encountered two abroad and countless traveling throughout the states.  hmmm.

atypical statue

isn't this cool?  it is a statue of a 'typical person.'

i loved malaga.

and now, to spain!

here is my elated, sun-deprived face when we first arrived in malaga.  LOOK AT THAT WATER.  siiiiiggggghhhh.  (fun fact: lots of stray cats lived on this beach.)

but, before my leaves paris, a quick nod to my wonderful parisian travel-mates featured below waiting for the metro.  (fun fact: metro stations in europe feature delicious chocolate bars in handy vending machines.  america, take note.)

perhaps my favorite photo of the trip of myself on a stranger's moped, courtesy of my friend erin.

sorry for the blurriness.  i was trying to avoid a parisian arrest.  (fun fact: i am a dweeb.)

eiffel tower

i must admit, i resisted the idea that i would love the eiffel tower.  i am finding the popular thing for american tourists to do is to 'avoid all things touristy.'

however, the view from the top was incredible, and despite every parisian i have met calling it 'ugly,' i found it beautiful in a bizarre way.

almost done with paris posts, i promise.

i am bad at the internet

yup, i am horrible at using the internet.  we have a love/hate relationship.  lately, with all the traveling i have been doing, it has tended towards hate.

but i am back!  i am going to try and post a picture a day, so beware and stay tuned!

this one is for you dad.  yes, that is the back to the future car as displayed at belfast's transport museum.
