eiffel tower

i must admit, i resisted the idea that i would love the eiffel tower.  i am finding the popular thing for american tourists to do is to 'avoid all things touristy.'  

however, the view from the top was incredible, and despite every parisian i have met calling it 'ugly,' i found it beautiful in a bizarre way.
